Refund Policy

Effective date: July 3, 2026

WorldSimulator sells prepaid credits used for AI features such as ambassador chats, what-if scenario simulations, and comparisons. When purchases are available, they are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record — Lemon Squeezy is the seller of the credits, and refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy back to your original payment method.

1. Unused credits — 14-day refund window

If you have not used any of the credits from a purchase, you can request a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date. Email me@joelint.com from the email address on your account, including your order details.

2. Partially used bundles

If you have used part of a credit bundle, we may refund the unused portion pro-rata, at the operator's discretion. Your account's transaction ledger (token counts per AI request) is used to calculate the unused share.

3. What is not refundable

The free daily credit allowance is not purchasable and is not refundable. Credits that have already been consumed by AI requests are not refundable. Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for currency outside of this policy.

4. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy to your original payment method. Once we approve a refund, the time it takes to appear on your statement depends on Lemon Squeezy and your bank — typically 5 to 10 business days. When a refund is issued, the corresponding credits are removed from your account.

5. Abuse

This policy exists to protect honest buyers. Patterns of abuse — for example, repeated purchase-use-refund cycles — may lead to refusal of a refund request and, in serious cases, account suspension under our Terms of Service.

6. How to request a refund

Email me@joelint.com with the subject "Refund request", sent from the email address associated with your account. Include the approximate purchase date and, if you have it, your Lemon Squeezy order number. We aim to respond within a few business days.
